Water Polo Paperwork Requirements

REGULAR SEASON
All players must have completed and turned in an athletic physical packet PRIOR TO the first day of practice (August 25th). Packets can be picked up in the athletic office at WHS or from Coach Irmas. The athletic office is located within the main office in Building 1. The office will be closed in July. It reopens in August. Packets must be turned in to Ellen in the athletic office, not the coach. To reach Ellen in the athletics office by phone, dial (805) 497-6711 extension 1013. You can reach Drew Passalacqua, our athletic director, at extension 1009. The physical is good for 1 year and must be renewed each year. Athletes with incomplete paperwork will not be allowed to practice and may be cut from the team, depending on the number of players we have.

SUMMER
All players who wish to participate in the summer program must register with United States Water Polo. US Water Polo membership automatically expires on December 31st regardless of when you sign up. To download an application click on the USA Water Polo link and click on membership. Print the application, fill it out, and mail it to the address at the top of the form along with your check. Our club number is 520. Our club name is Lightning Aquatics and our zone is Southern Pacific. You cannot practice or compete during the summer without US Polo membership.
