Summer Aquatics Program WATER POLO The summer water polo program is open to all new and returning players who will be attending WHS in the fall. Experience is not necessary. We will teach you the game. Water Polo practices will be held Monday through Thursday evenings. Summer 2008 practices will begin on Monday, June 16th and conclude on Thursday, July 31st. SUMMER FEES The fee for water polo is $250, payable to Lightning Aquatics. The fee covers coaches' salary, equipment costs and tournament entry fees. In addition, each athlete will receive a team T-shirt. The summer program fee is due by June 1st, 2008. In addition, players who wish to participate in the summer program must register with United States Water Polo. US Water Polo membership automatically expires on December 31st regardless of when you sign up. To go to the U.S. Water Polo website and download an application click here. Print the application, fill it out, and mail it to the address at the top of the form along with your check. Our club number is 520 . Our club name is Lightning Aquatics and our zone is CCA .You cannot practice or compete during the summer without US Polo membership. SIGN UPS Sign ups will be held at the WHS pool (between the tennis courts and the gym) from 9a - 11p on Sunday, May 18th, 2008. If you wish you can mail in your fees and application beginning on May 1st, 2007.
